Ms. Priebe joined Foresite Realty in 2014 as a Property Manager. She has grown and managed the existing Foresite Student Housing Division from only 900 beds to over 16,500+ beds within three years. April now runs the Multi-Family and Student Housing portfolios with the assistance of her division heads. Ms. Priebe also has coordinated and overseen over 20MM in Capital Improvement projects during her time with the company. In addition to her leadership role, she oversees training and support of our management software for the multi-family, MHC, and student housing divisions. April also assists in property transitions and on-site training. She continuously is working on creating up to date training materials and procedures for the expanding company in terms of geography, service and property type. She has extensive experience in housing markets nationwide, specifically within the Midwest.
Ms. Priebe has personally handled over 75 properties in the past five years. April possesses over 15 years of property management experience with a strong background in leasing and marketing in college-town markets. Before Foresite, she worked for a national student housing company with a portfolio of over 7,500 beds as an Executive Property Manager overseeing up to 15 properties. April has assisted with integration and acquisitions of newly acquired properties and as a recruiter in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, New York and Wyoming. National recruitment responsibilities included new hire and training of staff, such as other property managers, leasing agents and maintenance staff as well as for company transitions. Her other main focus was researching markets including completing due diligence, market analysis and strategies on an individual property basis for maximizing value. Included in her education, was to better staff knowledge of marketing, leasing and management techniques as well as plans for capital improvements and code violation work.
April has also mastered her skills of training and leadership through teaching college courses and continuing education in the Central-Michigan area. She has worked with real estate management companies such as Coldwell Banker, Campus Habitat, Aspen Square Management, and United Campus Housing.
Ms. Priebe earned a B.S. in Secondary Education and holds Master degrees in Human Resources and Communication from Central Michigan University. She also is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker. April is a member of the Michigan Education Association and Greater Michigan Association of Realtors.
